New Year’s Eve Family Countdown at the Toronto Zoo

Post last updated April 11, 2019

Yes, Christmas hasn’t even arrived yet and I’m already planning what we will be doing for New Year’s Eve.

This year we’re actually going to a party!

We will be taking the kids to the New Year’s Eve Family Countdown at the Toronto Zoo on Monday December 31, 2012.

Toronto Zoo NYE Party

If you’re in the Toronto area on New Year’s Eve and have kids who can’t stay up until midnight, consider celebrating the end of 2012 and the start of 2013 at the zoo.

Located at the Front Entrance, Americas & Australasia Pavilions and in the Tundra Trek, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., party goers can enjoy:

  • “That 60s Show” tribute band
  • Majinx Magic Show
  • Meet & Greet with Kung Fu Panda’s “Po” and The WotWots
  • WILD animal encounters
  • Kid’s Countdown at 8 p.m.

Space is limited and the Zoo suggests buying tickets in advance at Guest Services or TorontoZoo.com

How will you be celebrating the new year with your kids? Any family friendly events planned in your city?

Sounds like a really fun idea. Would love to spend New Years at the zoo.
