The Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel and Spa is located on the edge of downtown Fort Worth just off the highway.
The hotel is walking distance (15 minutes) to Sundance Square and Fort Worth’s Historic Cowtown Coliseum (located in the Stockyards).
The Fort Worth Water Gardens (a must see if you’re first time Fort Worth visitor) is located right across the street from the Sheraton.
This is a popular hotel for large groups. The hotel was sold out the weekend I visited with the majority of travelers being either business people, wedding parties or families in town for a dance team competition.
The Rooms
There are 429 rooms at the Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel and Spa and all have been recently renovated with signature Sweet Sleeper Bed® with plush-top mattress, desk and a small and clean bathroom.
I had a room in the South Tower looking out onto the railway which worried me at first but I was so exhausted by the time I got into bed, if the trains were running in the morning I didn’t hear them.
There’s an in-room safe, iron, complimentary water and coffee machine for guests. Mini fridges are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Dining Options
There is one restaurant and bar onsite at the Sheraton Wort Worth Hotel. I didn’t have a chance to check out the dining room but I did order room service for breakfast one morning – arrived on time and warm, no complaints!
Getting Around Town
If you want to forego renting a vehicle and don’t feel like walking in the heat, you can hop aboard Molly the Trolley for free and get to most of Fort Worth’s top attractions in a matter of minutes. The trolley has a pick up spot right outside the Sheraton.
Molly the Trolley runs 7 days a week from 10AM to 10PM. Check out this page for more info.
Overall Impressions
The Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel and Spa is a good option for families or travelers who want to be close to downtown but not in the heart of the city.
The location is great for those who need to be in the convention center area for sports competitions, conferences, and meetings.
The hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable.
The biggest draws (in my opinion) for the Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel are the water gardens across the street and the complimentary transportation via Molly the Trolley.
If you’re looking for a luxury experience, this is not the place for you however if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable hotel in a convenient location, the Sheraton Fort Worth might fit the bill.
